First Day of Kindergarten

I can't believe that Evan started kindergarten on Monday. He has been so excited and Monday morning was no different. He skipped his way to class, daddy taking pictures the whole way. I was happy to see that his new friend that he stood next to in line had a transformer shirt on, Evans favorite. Evan had lots to talk about with him. They walked into to class where they all sat down on the mat and sang songs with their teacher. I watched as Evan bounced up and down with the music and a huge smile on his face. Hes friend Kelly from preschool sat next to him. I was so proud. My heart did not break until I got to the park where I took Grant and Jason to play and realized that I would not have Evan with me in the morning anymore. I had to hold the tears back. Oh how much I love my sweet Evan and I have to let him go and be a big boy. My sweet little Evan is so eager to grow up and I want to give him every opportunity too. Its just is so hard sometimes. I am so proud of you Evan.
